We are currently looking for an Administrator . The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out administrative functions on behalf of the Estimating & Sales Department with the opportunity to develop skills and undertake estimating tasks.
Experience required :
Administration: 3 years (Preferrable)
Experience within the construction industry (Preferrable)
Experience in using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) package within the work place (Training will be given).
GCSE or equivalent (Grade C or above in Maths & English is desired).
To assist in the smooth and time efficient running of the Estimating & Sales Department through the completion of estimating administration in accordance with the business' policies and procedures.
To answer incoming telephone calls, transferring lines and coherently relaying messages to other members within the business.
To demonstrate excellent customer service.
To aid the Estimator in the tender process from the initial receipt of documents by downloading tender packages and identifying louvre/solar shading work.
To create and submit comprehensive project files to the Sales & Estimating Department for review and quoting.
To maintain up to date customer and supplier details on the company CRM package, ensuring relevant companies/contacts are linked to each project.
To file on-going project files within the company filing system and archive/dispose of completed project files in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
To ensure supply chain management through the completion of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ) and maintenance of Builders Profile etc.
Successful candidates will be warmly welcomed into a thriving and busy office work environment, where strong communication, problem solving skills and attention to detail are a must. There may be a requirement to assist in other departments from time to time.
