Our client a nation wide, leading utilities firm is looking for an Estates Surveyor to join their Capital Investments Programme team on a permanent basis.

Job Description:

Enthusiastic and customer-focused Estates Surveyor to provide professional property advice to our capital programme teams for land acquisitions and statutory claims. As part of a Scotland-wide Land and Estates Team you will contribute to the successful delivery of our clients Capital Investment Programme.
You will be responsible for the delivery of the land requirements of our clients large and varied portfolio of projects. This portfolio includes the upgrading of existing and the development of new sites in diverse and often challenging locations.

You will be responsible for delivery of land entry and land purchase for projects across your area and will work proactively as part of a large multi-disciplinary department. Strong stakeholder management skills and experience are essential. You'll be MRICS qualified and an enthusiastic team player. You also should have really good numeracy and IT skills and hold a full current driving licence. You'll be able demonstrate that you have initiative, the ability to prioritise your own workload and an appetite for new learning.

The post involves working closely with our internal and external stakeholders, community groups and external customers and previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial. Reporting to the Land and Estates Team Leader, this position offers excellent opportunities to those looking to further their experience across a diverse range of projects in a dynamic and results-driven working environment with one of the UK's leading utilities.

This role is normally based at the office in Dundee. When more normal working practices return the role will require weekly travel to Dundee.
