Our successful client has an immediate requirement for a dynamic ESA qualified Quality Inspector.
The role will involve the inspection of electro-mechanical components for spacecraft systems, and sub-systems.
The successful candidate will have:
Proven inspection experience in the production of complex electronics, electro-mechanical assemblies & systems in a high precision, high value and low volume environment, ideally space/aerospace.
A thorough understanding of IPC A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies requirements & some knowledge of IPC J-STD-001 Requirements for soldered electrical and electronic assemblies & ECSS Quality Standards.
AOI & X-Ray experience preferred, but not essential as training will be provided.
Able to read & interpret technical documentation ECAD/MCAD drawings/data and work instructions.
The successful candidate will also ideally be:
Organised, accurate and an attention to detail is essential.
Results orientated strong drive to meet quality levels & deliver to schedule.
Good problem solver able to work methodically, to tight deadlines within a pressurised environment.
Good inter-personal skills able to communicate at all levels across the business.
Pro-active and flexible with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
