Job Description

To enable integration of the Engineering and Supply Chain staff when managing engineering data in the supply chain systems. To examine data and determine sources, errors, potential migration and user issues. Ensure engineering data is defined and utilised correctly, and where appropriate, queries are raised on source providers of any anomalous data.

The Role is in support of the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning system (Phoenix LN). An opportunity has risen to join the E&I Engineering Assurance and Services, Data Management team to support introduction of the toolset and engineering data cleanse activity

Key Responsibilities

1/ Examine Excel data feeds for error 2/ Raise queries on source data providers 3/ Liaise with supply chain staff regarding definition and use of engineering data 4/ Attend meetings 5/ Report progress

Previous skills and experience Strong Understanding of Product Configuration and Data Management principles Experience of BAESYSTEMS toolsets DPDS/Team centre/ SAPCAM/ ASTRAL (previous involvement in Phoenix LN an advantage) Experience in BAESYTEMS Documentation e.g. DRLs, DDPS Specifications

Skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Strong Understanding of Product Configuration and Data Management principles Experience of BAESYSTEMS toolsets DPDS/Team centre/ SAPCAM/ ASTRAL (previous involvement in Phoenix LN an advantage) Experience in BAESYTEMS Documentation E.g. DRLs, DDPS Specifications

EXCELLENT Knowledge of: Microsoft Excel

GOOD Knowledge of: Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Outlook.

ESSENTIAL - Team Working and Motivation Skills.
