We have an excellent opportunity for an ENGINEERING DELIVERY MANAGER based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To audit designers SQEPness on behalf of the project.
To support the AEM/EM in the development of designs.
To support the Programme intelligent client capability.
To provide assurance to the Facilities Chief Engineer that all aspects have been carried out to an acceptable standard.
To liaise with other engineering areas of Barrow site to ensure best practice is applied to the engineering of Barrow Site Redevelopment Programme and a common approach and specification where appropriate.
To Prioritise and Report on Engineering Delivery Performance.
To review and accept, with the Designer, Design Submissions from the Contractor on behalf of the Design Authority.
To review and endorse Designer response to all Technical Queries arising from the Contractor/Sub-contractors.
To respond to Technical Queries arising from Stakeholders, Operations, etc.
To achieve Designer completion of all remaining works.
To close-out remaining works by Design Review and closure of Caveats and Forward Actions.
Ensure compliance with Plant Safety Case requirements.
Successful receipt of all Handover information, As-built drawings etc. following completion.
Chartered Engineer with experience in Nuclear multi-discipline build
A specialisation in MEP/Mechanical design is preferred.
To work in the Project Engineering team, taking ownership of aspects of the engineering as required by the Area Engineering Manager.
Rates will be decided depending on experience etc.
