Job Title: Engineering Controller Location: Wattisham Airfield, Suffolk

This is a permanent role working in a team responsible for delivering serviceable Apache aircraft in a dynamic working environment.

Responsibilities include:
- Aircraft maintenance, individual pulse task planning and technical administration.
- To act as the focal point for individual pulse activity
- Provide technical guidance to engineering staff
- Ensure all AHDSU technical queries are submitted on time to meet required delivery date for production planning
- Manage aircraft component triage activity by co-ordinating with On Site Support Team to find solutions to recover assets
- Responsible for ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are complied with
- Co-ordinating immediate fire-fighting actions and all immediate reactions to any other emergencies affecting the AHDSU
- Assisting with the drafting and progressing of Mod F760 and F765's in accordance with Depth Operating Procedures
- Routine operation of the Hums maintenance Data Station It system as directed by the respective systems managers
- Utilise and interrogate Gold ESP system as required
- Complying with the Company's/Customer Quality manual and the Customer's Health, Safety and Environmental policy, wearing protective clothing at all times and observing COSHH regulations
Candidate mandatory requirements:
- Must have served an aeronautical engineering apprenticeship or Civilian or Service equivalent trade training.
- Must have had a minimum of 3 years' experience in a military aircraft engineering supervisory position.
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of UK military aircraft documentation procedures
- Must possess a working knowledge and understanding of the Maintenance Approved Organisation Scheme.
