Employee Relations Advisor: Permanent: Leeds or Manchester based (with remote working available): Paying £30,000 - £35,000 + Benefits

Morson are delighted to be working with our global professional services client to support them in their search for a strong Employee Relations Advisor to provide professional HR and Employee Relations support across the business. The Employee Relations Advisor will report into the HR Business Partner and will be responsible for providing comprehensive employee relations advice and guidance to Partners and Directors, building effective relationships with people at all levels and adding value to the delivery of HR Services. The Employee Relations Advisor will also be accountable for, but not limited to:

  • Providing support on all Employee Relations cases from start to resolution, providing credible advice and complying with best practice and company policy/procedure
  • Being the first point of contact for HR Advice in the Leeds/Manchester Office
  • Working with line managers on performance management, absence management, employee relations, resourcing, employee management and employee development, ensuring input is provided effectively, professionally and within required timescales
  • Working with the recruitment team to support ongoing recruitment campaigns
  • Scrutinising people data reports to make recommendations for change/action
  • Keeping up to date on any legislative changes and amending policies accordingly
  • Supporting the HRBP with Global integration, strategic planning, budgeting, Growth and Talent within their dedicated Practice Group Areas.

Experience of dealing with complex Employee Relations cases and input into policy development on a global scale is required in this role, along with:

  • A CIPD L5 or above - those currently working towards the qualification will also be considered
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Previous experience of working in a global international business
  • Professional services/corporate background
  • A team player who can work well autonomously and as part of a team
