We have an opportunity for a TECHNICAL CLERK (ELECTRICALLY BIASED) to be based at the Westlakes Science Park, nr Whitehaven.

The successful Candidate will be involved in the preparation, implementation and maintenance of the Project Quality Document System.

Promotion of continuous improvement across the Project documentation systems.

Understand and manage the processes necessary for the provision of timely appropriate document Submissions and transmittals.

Ensure the quality standards are consistently met.

Ensure any EC and I sub-contractor document management systems and submissions satisfy the requirements of the Project.

Ensure documents can be tracked in a timely manner.

Manage document control process for the EC and I team as required.

Attend meetings as dictated by the project requirements.

Support and advise the EC and I team as required.

Record place and track orders for products and/or services.

Operate computer terminal to log ordering / receiving and to retrieve and enter data.

Perform a variety of clerical duties such as typing, copying and compiling data, maintaining and filing records and reports, and handling paperwork.

Provide assistance with basic tasks where requested and perform other related support duties such as shipping, inspecting, entering orders, inventory counts etc.

Prepare, issue, and send out packaging slips, mail, invoices, bills, receipts etc.

Prepare and submit purchase orders for suppliers.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Experience of Document control
At least 5 years experience of working within systems and procedures
Full working knowledge of data bases
Computer literate
Organised and efficient
Be able to work to tight deadlines.
Good timekeeping/time management
