Morson International is currently looking to recruit a number of experienced aircraft electricians/wiremen for our client based in Littlehampton.

Duties & Responsibilities:

To build electrical and electronic control elements in accordance with the design documentation supplied.

To assist design with the R&D process and pre-production modeling.

To ensure the preservation of materials, work in progress and equipment during manufacture, build and installation.

To ensure all materials issued are accurately booked against the job number and are documented if they did not appear on the original BOM

To accurately book your times against the correct job number using the Shop Floor Data Collection System.

To liaise with the Electrical Supervisor and design to offer practical solutions to day to day production problems.

To assist with the systems personnel during the functional testing process.

When working on a client's site, provide a professional interface and ensure good site discipline is maintained.

Electrical Systems Installation:

Install wiring in a professional manner ensuring the quality of the work meets with the Company's standards and appropriate technical standards including but not limited to the IEE and CE regulations.

Ensure recommended methods of assembly and installation, either from technical standards or specialist suppliers are adopted and implemented.

Ensure all cable support systems, cable identification, cable joints and termination details are installed in a professional manner.

Electronic Systems Installation:

Install electronic components and assemblies in a professional manner ensuring the quality of the work meets with the company's standards and appropriate technical standards including but not limited to the IEE and CE regulations.

Ensure recommended methods of assembly and installation, either from technical standards or specialist suppliers are adopted and implemented.

Ensure all electronic components, circuit boards, computer racks, Ethernets, Hubs, Bus Systems and any other electronic system are installed in a professional manner.

Demonstration & Test:

Test Electrical wiring sub systems and systems against the functional specifications and inform the Electrical Supervisor of the results and any non-compliance.

Demonstrate to the Electrical Supervisor the verification and compliance following modifications and appropriate debugging processes.

Prepare systems for demonstration, authorisation & approval both internally via the Project Manager and by the Customer.

Maintenance & Repair:

Maintain as built design records and ensure data is transmitted to the Electrical Supervisor to enable document revision.

Provide maintenance and repair support to conduct preventative and fault repairs to electrical wiring systems.

General:

Work in accordance with the Health and Safety Policy and statutory regulations.

Work in accordance with the Company Quality Assurance System and Company Procedures.

Ensure any staff under your control are adequately supervised and kept fully aware of Company's objectives, policy decisions and procedures.

To maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Undertake any other duties as identified from time to time by the Electrical Supervisor/ Company Directors.

These contracts are expected to last until at least Christmas 2018 and may go longer. There may also be opportunities for temp to perm should candidates be interested.

There are good hours available (up to circa 50 a week) and there may be a requirement to work a double day shift (£22.12 per hour Ltd Co.)
