About the role
The role provides the opportunity to be involved in projects in both private and public sector, including major framework & infrastructure developments which will be challenging, demanding, varied and offer excellent opportunities for career development. Our Building Services team within the Glasgow office has a proven track record in high quality innovative design within the Building Services market.
Working within our Glasgow office, you will work in a professional environment within an established building services team. You will have significant responsibility for all aspects of assigned project work under the supervision of senior staff, as well as supporting junior members of the team. This is a client facing role so you will be involved in design meetings and supporting the team with business development and in producing bids. As a team you will offer consultative services to our clients in order to fully understand their needs and deliver a first-class service.
This role will require someone with prove electrical building services experience ideally from a consultancy background. You will have experience of leading electrical design elements of building services projects, be degree qualified in an electrical discipline and a chartered engineer or approaching chartership. As this is a client facing role, excellent communication skills are a must including report writing and presentations and experience of managing client relationships.
Please note due to a significant portion of our building services projects being defence/MoD related, applicants are required to apply for SC level security clearance.
