We are looking to recruit a number of EC&I Engineers for our client based in Chorley.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
As a member of the head office engineering team the successful applicant is expected to maintain ongoing EC & I support for projects being delivered from the Chorley office.

Experience and Qualifications
Recognised professional qualifications (e.g. HNC/BSc/MSc/PhD) in a relevant engineering-based discipline or relevant equivalent experience.
5 years+ design experience in a highly regulated industry.
EC & I design background and general engineering knowledge.
Experience of BSEN 61508 or equivalent industry standards.
Working knowledge of safety, quality and environmental management protocols and policies.
A willingness to assist in the development of others.
Working within a multi-disciplinary team.

Personal Skills
Management of own workload to meet project demands.
Management of suppliers to deliver packages of work.
Developing of POI's, commissioning documents and technical reports.
Ability to communicate confidently with a wide range of colleagues at all levels and with external stakeholders and contractors.

Security Clearance
DV or SC clearance an advantage as the role will involve visits to AWE, Aldermaston. If not already security cleared, candidates should be able to satisfy the requirement of the Vetting Agency in order to obtain clearance.
