Job title: Early Careers Co-ordinator
Location: Broughton Chester
Duration: 12 Months
Hours: 37 per week
Pay rate: On application

We currently have an opportunity for a Coordinator to work within the Early Careers Team with our client near Chester. This role will be responsible for supporting the team in the organising of Careers events across 2 sites. You will be responsible for arranging apprentice and graduate resources for specific events and attending these engagement events and Careers Fairs as a representative of the company. You will act as the main point of contact for all three early careers schemes: Apprentices, Interns and Graduates

Main Responsibilities

-Co-ordination of Awards: Nominations etc. DEG of the Year, SEMTA, EEF etc.
-Apprentice Performance management and tracking:
Team marketing and Communications
-Task management of the admin support team
-Supplier management: Main interface into Procurement (Buyside / Purchase Orders). -Arrangement of preferred supplier agreements with support of procurement.
-Analyse current systems (data storage / communications / trackers / Hub etc. and identify ways in which we can optimise the use of new technology. Induction Organisation:
-Plan all the Early Careers induction welcome days across Broughton (circa 150 employees)
-Ensure safety equipment and Workwear is ordered, presentation material is coordinated, presenters are booked etc.
-Organisation of Meetings
-Ad-hoc HR related issues related to all 3 programmes.
-Improvement projects relating to all three programmes

Skills and Experience

-Proven experience in a coordinator role, preferably within an HR or Recruitment environment
-Strong administration skills and comfortable in a complex, fast paced environment
-Highly skilled in organising and prioritising workload
-Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
-High level of IT literacy including Excel and Power Point and able to work with multiple systems simultaneously and efficiently
