Role Overview:

We are seeking a .NET developer with Lean Six Sigma experience to be responsible for supporting and building .NET applications using VB.NET in Visual Studio.

Your primary responsibility will be the identification and implementation of automation opportunities

Job Summary:
* Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
* Support existing in-house applications
* Lead and manage the UK Continuous Improvement initiative across multiple UK sites
* Implement automated and non-automated solutions


Required Skills (Technical Competency):
* Proven experience as a .NET Developer across the full software development life cycle
* Proficient in vba
* Experience with SQL/Relational Databases
* Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
* Ability to write clean, readable, reusable, scalable and easily maintainable code
* Attention to detail and ability to be thorough in implementation, documentation, testing and review
* Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
* Strong knowledge of Excel & Visio
* Ability to work independently
* Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
* Experienced of working in medium to large scale and cross functional projects
* Self-motivated


Desired Skills:
* Experience with DevExpress
* Experience implementing automated unit testing
* Familiarity with popular web application frameworks


Qualifications & Experience:
* Around5 years application development experience in a Microsoft environment using Visual Studio
