Role: Document Controller

My client is looking for a document controller to work within our Special Projects division. Complex heritage restoration and signature new build projects call for a different degree of care. They often require targeted and highly bespoke solutions. Our Special Projects team is dedicated to providing those schemes with the technical excellence and expertise they need.
Types of projects include Maggies Cancer Centres, Royal Albert Hall, Elizabeth Tower & The Shaftesbury Theatre
The Document Controller Role:
We are looking for an experienced Document Controller to guide all admin and document control duties on a flagship scheme in central London. You will report into the Design Manager and be responsible for managing, maintaining and distributing all project related documents and oversee a small team.
Assist the site project team in site set up.
Check and collate all incoming mail received within the Project Inbox
Check all incoming post and manage the project email box
Collecting, maintaining and distributing all necessary documents that ensures conformance to the project requirements
Manage site calendar
Download Marked-Up Drawings from external consultants or design team members
Provide the design team with in date current marked up drawings for review
You will have:
Knowledge of Viewpoint for Projects software and Aconex.
Extensive experience in 4projects
Previous experience working in the construction industry with a main contractor.
An appreciation of the design and build process.
5 years experience within document control (preferable)
