We are looking to recruit a Document Controller to work for a large defence company based in Portsmouth. Working within the Telecoms Technical Data Management department, the Document Controller will manage all the project documentation to ensure full traceability. The Document controller will ensure the documents are processed following the standard company processes.
Duties will involve;
- Manage project documentation in line with the company processes. Ensure correct review, approval and release of the document.
- Provide support to the configuration team in their day to day tasks: management of RFDs, specifications, reports.
- Build internal datapack on time and on quality for delivery to the customer.
- Manage supplier datapacks.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated with the ability to work under stress and to meet challenging deadlines. You will have good collaboration skills. Previous experience of document control/management is mandatory. Windchill experience would be beneficial.
