Document Assistant
The Document Assistant will be responsible for the provision of a professional printing service to Office. To support all staff in ensuring that client requirements and project delivery timescales and efficiencies are met.
What are my responsibilities?
* Provide a wide range of technical printing and scanning services. Copy and scan large and small format drawings and documents. Distribute drawing and documents electronically or by hard copy if requested. Provide support and planning for commissioning's in Chippenham regional and site offices. Final finishing of work, prepare technical documents for biding to customer specification
* Document control releasing updated drawing and documents including the archived electronic library, Team Centre and Manufacturing Microstation artworks
* Supporting the business with any printer issues on site
* Order supplies of materials for DMC reprographic department and Chippenham site MFD and plotter equipment
* Archive procedure control documents off-site storage
* Other administrative support as requested by the business
* General housekeeping/safety/maintenance
* Miscellaneous administrative duties as necessary
* Assist Office Manager with general duties
* Provide cover for other teams as requested (e.g. holiday cover)
* Assist Receptionist/Administrators as necessary
What do I need to qualify for this job?
* Experience in Printing and document control (essential)
* Competent detailed knowledge of printing equipment (essential)
* Good organizational skills (essential)
* Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (essential)
* Able to work under pressure, and communicate effectively at all levels (essential)
* Proactive and able to work under minimal supervision (essential)
* Excellent accuracy and attention to detail (essential)
