The Distribution Warehouse Administrator is responsible for administrative tasks as well as delivering on customer contracts in the Distribution Warehouse.
This will range across different customers depending on the business need, where all individual roles within each customer are linked to the customer requirement, and as such will require specific training prior to completing activities with the customer.
Principal Tasks / Responsibilities
1.Administrate order flows, including order releasing, order tracking (ensuring the timely progressing of orders through system), escalating as appropriate to remove obstacles to order release, cancel/edit orders
2.Release in batches and manage batches if required and complete validation of orders for batches
3.Plan Outbound deliveries and pick-ups (including arranging price quotations),coordinating with transporters
4.Perform stock reconciliation across system
5.Order packaging and consumables
6.Schedule Inbound deliveries and provide emailed confirmations to suppliers providing coding if required
7.Manage Replenishment requirements to customer pick faces and pick face set up.
8.Raise POs and seek approvals for them, undertaking best price only approaches to requirements
9.Ability and confidence to undertake conversations via phone, email and face to face
10.Post pick Ticket Release Issue Resolution e.t.c.
1.Proficient in English(Spoken and Written)
2.Conversant in Technical English
3. Understanding of distribution industry and track record of leading successful teams.
4.Understanding of H&S legislation (i.e.COSHH, RoHS and duties of care)
5.Business systems ISO 14001/2004, ISO 9001:2000
1.Experience of Microsoft office
2.Previous experience within Distribution industry
1.GCSE grade C or above in both Maths and English
