Digital Media Manager - Leeds - 12 Months +

An opportunity has arisen with one of our clients for a motivated digital media specialist to join their small but mighty Marketing & Communications team reporting to the Head of Marketing.

The primary focus of the role is to manage and develop their web, intranet and digital marketing systems. You will have a passion for online marketing, the emerging world of technology and the opportunities that this presents for Marketing & Communications.

A 'hands on' approach is required and you will be able to work not only inputting into the Marketing & Communications strategy from a digital perspective but understanding and supporting the day to day tactical implementation of campaigns and developments. You must be able to hit the ground running working towards set targets, focusing on the acquisition of quality web traffic and interactions as well as how we develop our brand name online.

* Maintain and update the websites, intranet and other digital platforms. This will include liaison with suppliers to rectify issues and discuss developments where necessary
* Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing advising about new trends
* Utilise a range of techniques to optimize web content
* Create and send email campaigns
* Analyse key digital marketing channel data to recommend improvements and activity
* Advise and contribute to the planning and budgets for all digital marketing


* Working knowledge of online content management systems, Campaign Monitor / Mailchimp and Microsoft SharePoint
* Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
* Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Interpersonal skills - the ability to communicate with people at all levels
* Client focus
* Flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing service requirements
* Proven track record of operating in a similar professional/support services environment working as part of a team.

An Advantage but not Essential
* Experience in email marketing, and social media
* Qualified member of the CIM or equivalent
* Web development knowledge and working knowledge of software applications and database management e.g. HTML, CSS etc.
