Delivery Manager required to assist in the development, co-ordination and execution of project plans under the guidance of the project manager.

The role involves but is not limited to the following:

Support Project Managers in the delivery of nominated project activities on time, cost and quality. Initially the role will be to support the Project Manager in the delivery of work packages supporting the achievement of a successful engineering flight trial and customer capability demonstration in 2018.

Develop, implement and maintain project plans and manage the associated multi-disciplinary, budget, schedule and risks.

Deputise for the project manager during overseas flight trials, providing liaison between the customer and internal operations or local facilities teams.

Candidates must be able to deploy internationally for long periods of time.

Some or all of the following is required:

Project management experience and qualification ideally equivalent to Airbus Bronze certification (e.g. APM, PMI or Prince2).

Strong engineering background BSc / HNC / BEng and / or recognised apprenticeship in engineering.

Track record of successful delivery (defined timescales, requirements and budgets) for technical development projects.

Strong stakeholder management skills, able to influence subordinates, peers, superiors and partners.

Strong communication skills, being able to providing regular written and verbal reports and presentations to stakeholders.

Strong co-ordination and management skills, ability to motivate others.

Demonstrable ability to operate strategically, identify and embrace new technology and changes whilst controlling project scope.

Experience of UAS or Space system level design and documentation.

Experience of MS Project and other MS Office applications.

Understanding of UK/US military working procedures.

Willingness to deploy to remote benign environments.

Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance.
