An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client BAE Systems to work within their Shared Service Centre in Fulwood as a Data Quality Professional. You will be responsible for the input, maintenance, quality and integrity of data held in SuccessFactors. SuccessFactors is the HR platform for employee data, this role however extends beyond one single technology platform to cover the data input, peer review and problem management for several other technology platforms including SAP Finance, Vetting Record System (Security), Open Options and Time and Attendance systems.

Duties will involve;
- Responsible for managing SF Bulk data uploads which are deemed 'medium complexity' along with a good understanding of how SF Employee central works and the impact of adding mass data changes in both SF and in downstream integrations
- Providing support to the Senior DQT Professionals team when there is a demand for complex large scale / major re-organisation projects to deliver the aspects of work not covered by the Change Management team
- Responsible for managing medium complexity / repeatable Data Integrity changes caused by incorrect data input into SF - ensuring that data is corrected and then followed up with relevant stakeholders to address any root cause / future preventative actions etc.
- Working with key stakeholders such as DQT Data Analyst, business data leads, EITs and Change Management collaboratively and imaginatively to achieve business demands without compromising data integrity rules
- Providing support and working collaboratively with the PACE Data Integrity Analyst on correcting data issues and ensuring a full investigation into root cause analysis and subsequent long-term solutions
- Ensure robust governance and control by utilizing the SuccessFactors preproduction environment to assess data inputs impacts before final upload into the live production environment
- Support any required testing of functionality for process improvements / improved ways of working, by exploiting the use of SF pre-production environment
- Identify and highlight any persistent data errors connected to RPA to ensure they are addressed and corrective actions determined
- Deliver a range of data quality processes, ranging from low to high complexity, across the different technology platforms manged by the team (SF & SAP).
- Processes include data input, data corrections and validation, generation of GCI numbers, generation of employee numbers and on-boarding of the relevant personnel within the DQT working class remit
- Work closely with other teams / stakeholders who have a dependency on SF data input or changes, and ensure that repeatable data issues are captured and form part of the overall team continuous improvement plans / or feed into the Change Management process
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise to Employees / Employee Service Centre on data quality processes
- Ensure that data principles are followed and applied in line with the SF Data Dictionary rules/GDPR/RBP etc.
- Ensure robust governance and control is adhered to in respect of all data received and sent, and there is the appropriate levels of validation / peer review at all times
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvements including process improvements and efficiencies
- Ensure all processes are fully documented and aligned to current policy
- Ensure full understanding of the data and SuccessFactors processes, the impact of data changes and actively identify data anomalies and the appropriate action to resolve
- Awareness of the exposure to sensitive data and information necessary to perform the role

Qualifications & Knowledge;
- Intermediate to Advanced IT skills, in particular MS Excel
- A recognised Service Excellence accreditation
Broad understanding of the technology platforms associated with the service area
- Some knowledge of the governance and control frameworks
- Good level of knowledge of data protection and document retention policies
