Data Protection Specialist - Dusseldorf

Morson International are working with a world leading ICT Solutions company who are looking for a Data Protection Expert to join their team in Warsaw. You will be reporting directly into the Director of the Data Protection Office. They are looking for you to have a deep understanding of the EU General Data Protection Regulation and shall be familiar with best practice in data protection measures. The Expert will support the Director in all aspects of the Data Protection and work with business groups, customers, partners and authorities.

The Data Protection Specialist will:

* Support Director of Data Protection Office in all GDPR DPO tasks
* Communicate with employees, consumers and customers on privacy matters
* Provide Advice on DPIA and Risk Assessments and monitor their performance
* Data Breach incident monitoring, support, notification to authorities
* Follow up with changes in law and issue recommendations to ensure compliance
* Provide data protection advice to Business Groups
* Provide privacy training and ensure that privacy training and awareness is provided
* Monitor data management procedures and compliance within the company
* Manage Data Processing Inventory

The successful Data Protection Specialist will have:

* University Degree in Legal or Information Technology or equivalent
* iapp or equivalent data protection certification preferable
* Experience in data protection and legal compliance
* Work experience in data protection and/or legal compliance with a minimum of 3 years
* Solid knowledge of GDPR and national data protection laws
* Knowledge of data processing operations in the company's sector is preferable
* Familiarity with computer security systems
* Ability to handle confidential information
* Ethical, trustworthy, reliable
* Organizational skills with attention to detail
