Morson International are recruiting for a Data Process for a leading aerospace client to be located in Gosport, Hampshire.

The purpose of UK Rotor Craft Support (RCS) Supply Chain Management is to ensure effective delivery of goods and services to support the success of the RCS Through Life Customer Support (TLCS) programme and other relevant programmes as defined through strategy. The Supply Chain Team (SCT) has responsibility for forecasting, proposal management and contract change; component maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO); inventory maintenance; procurement and supplier management; and warehouse storage and parts distribution. Within this successful unit we are currently looking to recruit a Data Processor.

Scope of the Role:

Maintains control, availability and integrity of data stored in multiple forms, including paper, film and electronic media. Documents, issues, distributes, tracking and ship data. Maintains and processes records and files, keeps accountability records and makes final disposition of data. Communicates with customers to determine and meet their data needs. Contributes to the development and implementation of systems and procedures to improve process efficiency.

With guidance and support communicates with customers to understand and meet their data needs and timing requirements of routine assignments and resolves simple problems. Provides customer service by answering basic questions conforming to documented regulations company policies procedures and/or desktop instructions. With guidance and support learns to recognize that the data received is acceptable and which process to execute. Transcribes data into the appropriate system. Verifies that the data was input correctly. Learns applicable regulations company policies procedures and/or desktop instructions. Receives feedback corrects and learns to recognize data integrity issues. Supports maintenance of accountability records and final disposition of data records and files. Under direction executes simple queries. With the concurrence of a lead or mentor publishes issues distributes tracks and ships documents to customers. Participates in the development of initiatives that improve the efficiency of tasks to support processes within the organization to meet customer needs ranging from input to publishing.
