Our client a charity who look after and bring to life 2,000 miles of waterways across England and Wales, because they believe that life is better by water. Are currently looking for a Data Processor to be based at their Birmingham office, for a 6-month initial contract.

The purpose of the role is to support the Supporter Development (Individual Giving Fundraising) team with their use of the ThankQ Customer Relationship Management system (CRM). This will involve data imports & updates, data cleansing, queries and selection.

Key Accountabilities:

  • To assist/run ongoing data processes (data imports etc)
  • Data cleansing
  • Update the CRM with mass communications and other mass updates
  • Run data queries
  • Provide data selections for acquisition and retention campaigns

Knowledge, Experience & skills:

  • Experience of working within a data coordination role, preferably within a statutory and voluntary funding context
  • Database targeting, segmentation
  • Solid understanding of ICO guidance
  • Experience of working in a specialised supporter environment (fundraising)
  • Knowledge of charity law, including GDPR, and gift aid regulations as well as general fundraising best practice
  • Strong relational database technical skills (Raiser's Edge, ThankQ)
  • Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including V-Lookup and Pivot Tables
  • Absolute integrity in handling sensitive personal data
  • Ability to work methodically and complete repetitive tasks accurately with excellent attention to detail
  • Good time management and multi-tasking skills
