We are looking to recruit a Data Analyst to work for a large aerospace company based near Blackburn. The successful candidate will have previous experience performing data analysis along with a general understanding of Supply Chain processes and theories. The jobholder will be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel, with experience in complex and large scale data analysis, including advanced formulae. You will have experience with both writing and understanding VBA, utilising it to increase automation in processes (Macros). You will have the ability to use pivot tables to effectively present data to various stakeholders and be proficient in Advanced charting. You will also have good PowerPoint skills and excellent team working skills.

Experience of working with a Manufacturing / Supply Chain organisation (FMCG preferable but not essential). Experience of MRP / ERP systems such as BaaN or Infor LN would be an advantage.

The purpose of the role is to produce numerous Data Packs to provide an overview of performance / KPIs of the supply chain. The current Logistics resource does not have such skill sets and the volume of work has increased due to an increase in Production and the implementation of a new ERP System.
