Customer Services Representative - Based Northwich, Cheshire. Contract initially. Possibility of moving to a Permanent role.

Reporting to the Salt & Sodium Bicarbonate customer service manager, based at our Head Office in Northwich, our team of customer services representatives are the principal point of contact for our customers. They play a pivotal role between our customers, manufacturing sites, logistics partners, warehouse teams, sales, finance and quality departments at all levels.
Ensuring a smooth order to cash process and provide our customers with an excellent service experience. The department handles over 2500 orders and 5500 calls per month alone, on top of tasks such as transport calendar management, new accounts set up, export documentation, complaints through to stock reporting and pallet management roles such as Chep and Contraload.

Whilst we can help you develop the skills you will need to be successful in the role, you must bring a passion for customers and service excellence, the ability to form strong and trusting relationships both internally and externally, work within a team environment and have a positive outlook.
We would expect you to have experience of working within a customer service environment, though the industry is less important than your excellent communication & organisation skills, the ability to prioritise, multi-task, problem solve and deal with high pressure situations.
Technically your IT and communication skills will be important factors in building credibility with colleagues and customers, with the ability to learn new systems and packages.
The successful candidate will be solutions focused even in times of pressure, promote positive change and remain determined to balance the needs of the customer with the needs of the business.
A sense of humour is also crucial.
