Key Responsibilities:

  • Use customer analysis to drive on-shelf availability of our products

  • Take the lead in flagging any issues with availability and support customers in resolving them swiftly

  • Own day to day contact with your customer base, ensuring all stakeholders are aware of inbound issues and timelines

  • Take part in monthly meetings to align forecasts for promotional activity.

  • Drive decision making in Sambro, and the Customer, through a collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment processes, ensuring flawless execution of all new product launches and seasonal events.

  • Track actual sales daily against forecast, investigate significant variances and amend forecast where necessary, influencing customer teams, internally and externally, to manage risks and opportunities.

  • Utilise customer systems to analyse data, review sales and stock holding.

  • Improve Forecast accuracy and Bias.

  • Maximise our relationship with the customer teams to drive joint sales.

  • Ensure good communication between various parties, from the customer right through to Supply Chain team, making and updating plans/suggestions in a timely, effective manner.

  • Ensure all Supply Chain data between the customer and the business are continually aligned to minimise errors within the order management process

Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • Graduate in a relevant discipline, e.g. Supply Chain, Business, Retail.

  • Previous Demand Planning experience, preferably in a retail setting.

  • Experience in a customer facing or relationship management role.

  • Experience in the supermarket environment would be particularly helpful.

  • Excellent IT skills and quickly analyses complex problems to find actionable, pragmatic solutions.

  • Positive, enthusiastic and willing to learn. Exhibits a "can-do" attitude and a willingness to take on significant challenges.

  • Collaborates well with others to deliver results.

  • Displays responsible and ethical behaviour towards customers and colleagues in our organisation

  • Develops creative solutions and different ways of doing things that add value.
