Our Client has a requirement for Cost Modelling Consultants to join their growing team of consultants and analysts, working with clients across government and industry to support key business decisions.
As a Cost Modelling Consultant, you will bring specific experience of structuring, modelling, and analysing the whole-life costs of projects, programmes or assets.
Responsibilities as a Cost Modelling Consultant may involve:
Leading or working within project teams to deliver cost modelling and other analysis projects to time, cost and quality
Consulting with clients to understand their requirements and develop solutions
Building business and economic models that determine the cost and pricing of business constructs and undertaking analysis
Cost estimating / forecasting
Communicating and presenting findings to clients
Conducting/supporting business winning activities including customer engagement and proposal writing
Experience will ideally include some or all of the following:
Financial modelling (Business modelling / Economic modelling)
Cost estimating and cost forecasting
Schedule and risk analysis
Knowledge of gathering cost data, estimating, CAAS guidelines, CDALs, V&V, etc.
MOD approvals (knowledge of IGBC, MGBC, JSP507, JSP655 etc.)
Delivery of analysis/consultancy projects
Working directly with clients and stakeholders
Managing projects to agreed budgets and timescales
A degree in a numerate subject, or relevant experience to offset
