  • Support the Contract Managers with regards to impact assessments of contract changes, and lead on the impact assessments of contract interpretation on first-of-kind and non-standard contractual issues.

  • Seek views from the Policy & Insights team on the policy alignment of any significant generator proposed changes as part of the initial impact assessment.

  • Provide insights on Scheme Delivery operational issues, including potential disputes, Generators and investors manifest and potential needs and claims, and changes under consideration, to support the Policy & Insights team in managing the feedback interface with the BEIS Shareholder and policy teams.

  • Develop materials for scheme applicants and Generators, and assist on applicants/Generators and stakeholders engagement exercise, producing and delivering workshops representing the company in stakeholders engagement events.

  • Support the Head of Scheme Management in reporting to the Board on CM performance (including reporting to the CM Ops Board).

My client is looking for someone with a good understanding of the current UK energy policy landscape and regulations or a good understanding of UK power and in particularly the renewables sector. To have analytical and technical contract management expertise and the knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory and contractual management issues would be desired and experience of processing contracts for difference would be beneficial but is not essential.
