Our Client based on the Isle of Wight has a requirement for a Continuous Improvement Leader to undertake the below contract role.

PURPOSE OF ROLE

To aid in the facilitation of continuous improvement processes and support the site-wide deployment of lean tools and methodologies, and promote employee involvement.

MAIN TASKS

Adheres to all company Policies and Procedures, actively promotes Continuous Improvement and its activities and services to others.

Presents, facilitates and leads assigned process improvement events using methods of appropriate team building, data gathering and analysis, problem solving, project management, and presentation skills.

Seeks and evaluates process improvement and Lean Enterprise information, materials, and methods to match specific organisational needs as outlined by management, and adapts them to use in the execution of process improvement events.

Facilitate the implementation of the required minimum standards of the Production System as far as possible within the facility, and support implementation plans to extend to a full production facility.

Support, coach and train employees and leaders In the tools and requirements of the Production System and Continuous Improvement, including helping them to implement Production System standards and identify opportunities for improvement.

Develops reports of overall Continuous Improvement activities including accomplishments,
participation, projected activities, and anticipated needs.

Assure that committed improvements are implemented, measured, sustained and deliver positive results (e.g. quality, cost, delivery, and Health and Safety).

Provide advice and expertise to all employees in the implementation of a sustainable positive change culture (Change Management).

Coordinates with related departments and functions to assure appropriate information flow and understanding of overall process improvement direction, and Production System implementation status.
