We are looking to recruit a Construction Manager to direct Construction and / or Decommissioning site operations for our client in Berkshire.
Candidates will need to hold SC / DV level Security Clearance.
Degree or equivalent in an engineering / construction discipline with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience of multi-disciplined team.
CSCS - Construction Safety Certificate (management level) and Certificate or Diploma in Construction Management studies with applied skills is essential
Essential requirements:
Working knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations incl: COSHH, PUWER, LOLER & RIDDOR.
Working knowledge of employment legislation.
Experience of managing in a construction / site environment or in pharmaceutical or food industries.
Working knowledge of employment legislation.
Experience of managing in a construction / site environment or in pharmaceutical or food industries.
Working knowledge of safety, quality and environmental management protocols and policies.
Able to prepare and present management information and basic reports.
Competent user of MS Office.
Proven and effective manager of people and resources.
Able to manage projects to strict time, safety and cost criteria.
Able to access and utilise a range of reported data sources and business / technical information.
Familiar with budget and resource reporting.
Able to prepare and present a written case and justification for activities including: Risk assessments Method statements Management reports and Resourcing information
