We have an opportunity for a Construction Co-ordinator/Supervisor based at Drigg, Cumbria to take charge of the planning, execution and day-to-day management of designated Project construction activities, with a bias toward on-site electrical work and also including an oversight of any risks and issues arising from the project deliverables, the work will be electrically biased.

The Construction Co-ordinator is the person in charge of the planning, execution and day-to-day management of designated Project construction activities, including oversight of any risks and issues arising.
The Construction Co-ordinator is responsible for making sure the work is completed correctly, on time and to the required specification., and will,
Assist with input and maintenance of the Construction Phase Plan as required and ensure the discharge of the Principal Contractors (PC) duties.
Fulfil the role of the Superintending Officers Nominated Representative for the implementation of the various contracts.
Raise Event Reports when required and carryout investigations when requested to do so.
Ensure that construction work allocated is supervised, checked and accepted to a verifiable quality.
Ensure site work is planned and coordinated to meet programmed dates.
Ensure that the contractors (including sub-contractors) and their supervisors are Suitably Qualified and Experienced to carry out their respective roles, are monitored on an ongoing basis and that contractor's management take positive action to maintain safety, health and environmental arrangements to the highest possible standards.
Liaise with designers and project personnel to ensure correct interpretation of their requirements and obtain authorisation for modifications consequent upon site conditions.
Co-ordinate interfaces between contractors, designers, operators and Client at site level to ensure the flow of relevant information is uninterrupted.

Qualifications
City & Guilds 236 Part I. City & Guilds 236 Part II. 17th Edition I.E.E. regulations.
SC Security clearance + Current P4 Pass - Preferred
Computer literate (MS Office + Standard Packages)
