A new vacancy is now available for a Technical Administrator to join a large Aerospace Company.

Job Description
To provide Concessions Technical Administrative Support to Portsmouth Operations and its suppliers
To provide a front desk service and be responsible for the transfer of Concessions between various Customer IT Systems.


Key Accountabilities

- To transfer Quality Notifications and concession requests between the organisation and Customer IT Systems, ensuring accuracy and speed is maintained
- To act as a front desk contact for concessions enquires from Portsmouth Operations, Procurement and its suppliers
- Skilled in tools such as Microsoft Office Packages
- To work in co-operation with the wider team and other functional areas of the company to achieve local and overall business objectives
- Support the Concessions Team for all business activities, eg KPI compilation, audit preparation and corrective actions, start of shift meetings
- Managing own workload to ensure tasking is completed to schedule
- Support continuous improvement plan and "Lean" initiatives to develop improved operating processes and procedures - eliminating all waste
- Ensure compliance to the company's Health and Safety Policies
- To provide technical administrative support, when requested, out of normal working hours

Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Essential:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Database packages
- Experience of dealing with customers and suppliers
Desirable:
- Experience of aerospace quality management systems
- A knowledge of Aerospace Engineering / Manufacturing
- Awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental requirements

Personal Specification
Essential:
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple task, prioritise accordingly and work to deadlines
- Ability to prepare clear, concise documentation
Desirable:
- Strong minded and committed, able to embody vision and engage people in the delivery of that vision
