We are excited to be recruiting for a highly respected and reputable Client who have a vacancy for a Compliance Assistant.

This role will consist of, but will not be restricted to the following:
Job Description
Conduct and report weekly BRC audit for the site, following up on actions raised
Challenge employees to ensure the Clients policies are adhered to.
Conduct weekly product audits and circulate internal audits schedules to auditors.
Maintain the document control system for the site.
Assist in the waste management system for the site.
Ensure internal audits are completed on time.
Action observations from internal audits.
Assist in updating and maintaining the company's ISO and BRC standards and manuals.
Assist in executing all external standard audits for the site.
Attend meetings for environmental & energy standard and circulate minutes where appropriate.
Maintain and update the environmental procedures.
Assist in organising training for ISO and BRC standard updates as required
and conduct audits as assigned.
Report and follow up on any breakage incidents.

Candidate Specification
The ideal candidate will be confident in working on their own initiative as well as working as part of a team.
You will have the ability to juggle many things at once as well as ensuring compliance and working to tight deadlines.
Be an excellent communicator both verbally and written and have a questioning mind.
Be proficient in Microsoft applications including Word and Excel.
Due to the nature of the role the ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of ISO standards and already be a trained Auditor, or a good understanding of the Audit process.

Lowestoft area

up to 9 months approx. but may lead to Permanent for the right candidate
