We have an opportunity for a Commissioning Support Manager based at Sellafield, Cumbria
Please note this role is inside IR35

Reports directly to the Commissioning Manager providing managerial support ensuring that all commissioning deliverables are compiled and delivered to specification and schedule.
Manages a team of up to ten document authors.
Manages commissioning deliverables and compiles progress management reports for the project delivery managers.
Leads commissioning readiness reviews and major commissioning milestone reviews.
Manage all commissioning logistic requirements, commissioning spares, test equipment, consumables.
Ensuring quality standards, and consistency is applied throughout the range of documentation being produced across Commissioning / Completions and O&M teams.
Forecasts resource requirements and ensures recruitment activities are expedited to the project schedule.
Manages interfaces with the JV engineering team to expedite technical information.
Manages the interface with the client operations group to secure approval and handover of commissioning and O and M documentation.
Ensuring input to other project processes are incorporated, e.g. design, risk, contract, estimating and knowledge management.
Identifies and mitigates risk to commissioning schedule and deliverables.
Supporting the development of a collaborative project culture in line with Collaborative Working Plan.
Ensuring document production resources utilised are managed efficiently and effectively.
Leading and coaching the team to maximise their efficiency and effectiveness.
Delivering JV and Sub-Contractor Commissioning and O&M Documentation in accordance with the approved standards and to the agreed programme.
Delivering of Commissioning, Completions and O&M weekly reports for CTL / APM use.
Ensuring transparent and credible performance information.
Providing positive stakeholder interactions.
Acting as a positive role model for the required behaviours and approach.
15 years commissioning in a similar managerial role for either nuclear or conventional systems commissioning
Experience with GoC CMS (or similar)
Preferred HNC/HND in Engineering related subject
Project management knowledge, preferably APM member
