Our client, a leading established Building Services (M&E) Contractor are currently seeking a to employ a Commercial Manager.

Main duties:

To manage a commercial team and practices, advising senior management on the commercial risks and opportunities on Contracts from tender to completion.

• Responsible for the Commercial performance of several projects.
• Providing commercial support and advice to Work Winning and other functions as required.
• Supporting the Commercial Director in preparing the regional management accounts and contributing to Contract Reviews.

Essential Experience:

Significant Experience of responsibility for the commercial performance of projects
Experience of successfully managing a commercial team.

Responsible for:

Health and safety, risk management, team leadership, stakeholder relations, business planning and budgeting, contract administration and financial management.
Candidates are expected to have an awareness of the building services (M&E) sector, be IT proficient and be an effective communicator.
Be able to actively apply specialist knowledge; providing advice, identifying risk and challenging where necessary.
Deals with complex issues relating to legal frameworks, policies and procedures; provides clarity and direction where necessary.

Qualifications:

Relevant BSC / degree / equivalent
English & Maths GCSE / equivalent

The role would be ideally employed on a permanent basis, but contract / freelance options could be discussed.
