We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Assistant within the IT team here at MAG, the successful individual will carry out a full range of commercial activities to support effective business relationships with IT customers, partner, contractors and other third parties.

Working with the ITaaS Team, this role will include all aspects of support, including the provision of accurate information, coordination, governance control and service assurance required through application of the agreed processes, toolsets and procedures.

Role responsibilities:

Support negotiations and contracting of IT services to retailers, ground handlers and airlines, along with associated, profitable revenue stream - including coordination of this across all MAG airports.
Support the ITaaS team and the airport commercial teams to ensure delivery of new products and services to commercial partners inc airlines.
Support the ITaaS Commercial Manager with monthly reviews of IT income
Ensuring timely reporting
Ensuring regular attendance of participants to key governance meetings
Consider opportunities and efficiencies in every day thinking


Comfortable dealing with ambiguity in a highly evolving change environment.

Excellent stakeholder management experience to board level.

Good commercial acumen and knowledge of contractual terms and conditions.

Good understanding of internal and external customer requirements, and of partners, contractors and third parties. Demonstrable knowledge, experience and capabilities in financial planning.

Strong industry knowledge of future technology trends and roadmaps.

Experience in public sector procurement.

Experience working in a matrixed business environment.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to the intended audience.

Committed, tenacious, acts with integrity.
