Commercial Administrator; Location: Luton; Duration; 6 months.
We are currently recruiting a Commercial Administrator be based at our client's site in Luton.
Key tasks will be general office administration, order management in a SAP system, and dealing with customer and internal enquiries on the telephone. The role will suit somebody proactive and a self-starter who has attention to detail. It would also be advantageous if the individual has customer interface experience. Accurate and right first time data entry is another essential skill.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the Commercial team, and Individual Programme Managers / key Account Managers
Administer Customer Repair surveys, Quotations, Purchase Orders and co-ordination with the factory areas on delivery dates and repair turn times.
Significant part of role is understanding our SAP Business system and Data Entry in SAP of new build, spares and repairs sales orders onto SAP.
Customer liaison on issues ranging from pricing to delivery dates to overdue invoicing chasing.
Answering phone calls / e-mails efficiently and quickly from customers and internal business areas within KPIs
Filing and Photocopying
Chasing Overdue Debtors
Other general administrative duties
Comply with the Company's Health and Safety legislation and policies.
Meeting KPIs of raising quotations, raising Sales Orders.
Maintaining a clean order book in the business system and ensuring 100% order book accuracy.
Skills and Experience
Fast Typing (Minimum 40 words per minute)
Quick Excel User, Competent in Excel and Business Systems, ability to run reports, compare data and use formulas.
SAP Experience - Desirable but not essential
Ability to Learn business processes quickly
Ability to assess information, filter information and data entry the correct information quickly.
Appropriate academic qualifications - 5 GCSE's or equivalent at Grade C or above to include English and Maths preferred.
Attention to detail, quality, accuracy and desire for continual improvement.
