As a CNC Operator your main duties will include operating CNC lathes that have been set up to manufacture parts for hydraulic cylinders and using measuring equipment to check the parts produced comply with engineering drawings. Although training will be provided to the right candidate previous experience of working in a production environment is required.
Must have experience of working in an engineering production environment.
A good understanding of using measuring equipment.
The ability to understand and read engineering drawings.
A methodical worker with a keen eye for detail.
Training will be provided to a suitable candidate.
Previous experience of working on CNC machines beneficial but not essential.
Must be able to work to tight deadlines and high targets due to the fast paced nature of the role.
To maintain good housekeeping.
To adhere to health and safety regulations and rules.
Wage dependent upon experience.
We are a well established company whom have been designing and manufacturing hydraulic cylinders from our base in Clitheroe since 1954. We supply a bespoke product for various industries and have recently moved to a more modern, efficient facility to help move the company onto the next level. We are in need of a new member of staff in our finishing area testing area in order to increase production levels and meet customer demands.
