JOB FUNCTION
Maintenance Mechanic works with all elements involved in maintaining CNC machines to OEM standards. This involves overseeing the health of all CNC machines and participating in TPM events. Provide detailed reports on all work orders.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

* Replace Spindles when needed. * Perform PM's per schedule. * Responsible to maintain all systems on CNC machines. * Troubleshoot and maintain Chiller systems, A/C Systems and Hydraulic systems. * Rebuild Rotary Heads. * Rebuild Gearboxes. * Square up and realign 5 axis CNC Machines. * Provide Reports and documentation of repairs. * Research problems with machine manufacturer as needed. * Adherence to 6S System. * Performs other related duties as required and assigned.


EDUCATION
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered.
* High school diploma.


EXPERIENCE
* 10+ years' experience in a manufacturing/maintenance environment. * Problem solving ability in a machine shop environment. * Must have excellent verbal and written skills. * Some knowledge of scheduling and report making.

Lift up to 40 lbs. * Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head. * Will work in the manufacturing, fabrication and machine shop. * May be required to travel to other site locations during the work day. * The employee may be exposed to vibration. * The employee will occasionally work with caustic chemicals. * The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. * May be required to travel to other site locations during the work day. * May be required to work OT and weekends to meet department and business demands. * Work with safe manufacturing processes and understand that eyewear is mandatory in the manufacturing area. * Knows that safety shoes are required in the manufacturing area. * Knows the purpose and location of Material Safety Data Sheets.
