You will review operational performance to establish trends to inform resource and flow planning, identifying any risks to budget. You will also review in the day/week/hour performance and make changes as required to process procedures. You will be responsible for delivery of planned change and improvement activity into a live operation and actively collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers to develop robust and seamless delivery plans.
Leadership is a key and you will work with colleagues to improve activity, alongside delivering standardised ways of working into the operation to improve overall performance. You will use appropriate methods to identify improvements and lead root cause analysis of downtime events to implement permanent corrective actions.
You will be responsible for identifying performance issues and producing workable, joined up improvement plans to ensure delivery against KPIs. Additionally, you will review and measure the impact of improvement plans/change activity and embed improvements across the operation to ensure change is implemented.
The successful candidate will ideally be a continuous improvement professional with demonstrable experience of improving performance by introducing more efficient working practices/technology. You will have proven planning capability and an analytical mindset to interpret data. You will be passionate about making a difference and have experience of applying practical application of change. Strong communication and influencing skills are key for this role, alongside resilience and being able to effectively manage relationships.
