Are you an experienced careers and skills coordinator? Our client BAE Systems based in Brough is looking for someone to co-ordinate the support and administrative activities of the Early Careers & Skills programmes. Responsible for meeting service delivery contractual requirements, including those of funding and awarding bodies, by ensuring data governance and system processes are in place. The role holder will plan and action as required all necessary support activities ensuring deliverables are completed in a timely manner to support key operational requirements and projects. The individual will lead on aspects of process improvements that lead to quality improvements and/or cost efficiencies. The role will ensure that programme performance is managed and monitored in line with KPIs and business objectives.

The role holder will:

Lead on co-ordination of learner registration, progress monitoring, certification activity and internal / external meetings.

Monitor and ensure funding and success performance against KPIs are on track and take corrective action as required.

Monitor and ensure assessment practices and delivery processes are compliant with awarding body/ partner requirements.

Lead additional activities e.g. recruitment process, induction process and internal/ external celebration events.

Provide support to Early Careers delivery teams and Management. Analyse and update Management Information Systems and reports to support the Early Careers & Skills programmes. * Raise Purchase Orders to procure goods and services.

Responsible in meeting the demands of internal/ external quality monitoring and compliance standards.

Pro-active in identifying improvements to process and service that leads to quality and / or cost saving outcomes.

The role holder will have;

Specialist knowledge of legislative, awarding body and funding systems requirements.

Broad understanding of the Early Careers & Skills business operation.

A professional with a track record of occupational competence.

You will have an understanding of local Business Unit systems and processes. Breadth of understanding of Early Careers and Skills required at an operational level and how it integrates with the local Business Unit.
Typically includes line management of a small administration team
Dealing with high volumes of tactical, day to day problem solving required.

You will be responsible for the effective running and delivery of the Early careers and Skills service provision to the UK businesses. The quality of Early Careers & Skills service delivery through effective coordination and organisation. Impact on compliance with awarding bodies and funding organisations
The role will have impact on: Direct impact on the Early Careers and Skills teams within HR Services. Potential to impact on Business Unit service delivery through ability to claim learner achievements/ funding. Potential to impact at UK operating level through risk to BAE Systems funding contracts.

The role holder will require excellent communication skills with dealing with both internal customers and external suppliers. High level of data accuracy and detail required. Ability to coordinate and organise tasks for others
