Buyer

Job requirements
* Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials from vendors
* Ensuring suppliers meet their delivery commitments (ASN & PO confirmation), through regular calls and communications
* Resolve and delivery delays with the supplier and escalate where support is required
* Expedite material when required
* Work with suppliers on reducing Lead Times and improving delivery performance
* Evaluates vendor quotes and services and support to identify the most desirable suppliers
* Requirement to work across global supply chains

Experience
* Recent experience working in a buyer / material planning
* Works well under instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
* Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement where required
* Material expediting experience
* Knowledge of SAP
