Morson International are recruiting for a Business Proposal Specialist for a leading aerospace and defence client based in Bristol.

Job Description:
To assist in developing campaign and proposal structures for a number of new business opportunities. Edit content generated by SMEs and use structured interviews to support proposal development process. Re-work existing material where appropriate. Undertake proofreading to ensure delivery of a professional draft.


Assists with the win strategy steering committees and integrated solution development workshops. Supports technology road mapping or program road mapping. Participates on teams with projects of limited scope and complexity. Coordinates database requirements. Acts as a coordinator for the assured sharepoint Site, adding new users, uploading content, amending site structure where directed. Using established guidelines provides guidance and direction to proposal teams. Provides key specialist support to medium/large complex proposals. Act as a deputy bid coordinator in the absence of the bid coordinator/deputy CTL. Scheduling proposal reviews, collating presentation content, monitoring action lists collating clarification questions and administering team IT. Compile induction packs for new team members.

Resposibilities:
 Coordinating the completion of campaign activity in line with the business development governance process, the Integrated Business Acquisition Process (IBAP)
 Defining key campaign/proposal activities in the campaign schedule
 Active member of the proposal team, delivering a compliant, compelling and executable proposal
 Develop proposal schedule and management plan and communicate to team
 Manage development and documentation of offer win strategy, discriminators, themes, strengths, features and benefits that must be across proposal
 Manage development of proposal outline, compliance matrix, and storyboards
 Manage contributions from authors and SMEs
 Develop compliant and compelling proposal or proposal section content, both text and graphics
 Verify proposal compliance with solicitation
 Establish review team process and membership
 Brief review teams
 Ensure strategies, key messages, and themes are present and consistent across volumes
 Ensure a comprehensive edit of entire proposal.
