Job Description To support and lead the effective deployment, delivery and sustainment of Business Improvement across Supply Chain function and projects on behalf of Naval Ships organisation

Experiences/ Skills Extensive knowledge and experience of : Procurement processes and interfaces between the business Process improvement within a Procurement environment Experience of carrying out audits within Procurement Responsibilities Leading identified work streams Review end to end process Manage issues, interface, continual improvement Spot check and audit process content Identify and Drive improvement Create and deliver Improvement Plans Produce/Deliver reports Extensive knowledge and experience of : Procurement processes and interfaces between the business Process improvement within a Procurement environment Experience of carrying out audits within Procurement Business Expertise Lean/Six Sigma accreditation or equivalent Risk Management skills and experience PC literate with working knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Word, Project Developed general stakeholder skills Experience of implementing a Quality Model in a large multi-site, multi project environment Ability to drive improvement within the Procurement Function Development of skills to drive continual improvement Identifying strengths to apportion work scope within work streams Good coaching skills Confidence and trust working with and presenting sensitive data Leading by example to promote professional and ethical standards Ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders Problem Solving Evaluating options possibly not covered by procedure Analysing available information to drive improvements Identifying suitable stakeholders
