We have an opportunity for PERM Business Change Project Manager based at Chadwick, Risley
The post holder may need to be flexible with regard to work outside of normal business hours from time to time and may be required to travel across the UK particularly to Sellafield and Preston Labs.
1. Job Purpose
To provide Operational HR business change expertise to the client Business Change programmes and projects.
Has knowledge of Operational HR processes, procedures and ways of working and can contribute knowledge and experience to drive improvements, deliver change and enhance of client's HR capability.
To define, plan, direct and deliver HR Change Projects to time, cost and quality objectives.
To set up, manage and develop project teams, with a range of backgrounds and experiences.
To ensure projects operate in accordance with the client Change & Transformation operating model and governance framework
To work as part of a flexible collaborative team across the Change & Transformation programme ensuring overall transformation goals are achieved
To coach and guide SME's and Sponsors in the delivery of change & it's governance and methodology
To act as a role model for the changes required in both task and behaviour as part of the client Change & Transformation team
2. Accountabilities and Measures

Measures & Targets (Performance Indicators)
Mobilisation and implementation of a programme and project governance structure in accordance with the client methodology.
Generation of high-quality project and programme reporting in a timely manner in accordance with the client methodology and governance timetable.
Delivery of projects and projects to time, cost and quality targets.
Identification and delivery of targeted performance benefits from the projects.
Ensuring risks and issues are identified, captured and managed appropriately in a timely manner.
Proactively identifying and resolving dependencies, problems and barriers to delivery.
Communicating progress and issues effectively to the Head of Change & Transformation and Sponsor to identify decisions required in order to maintain progress
Identify and interact regularly with key stakeholders in order to ensure that the projects are delivering against its objectives.
Mentoring and coaching of other Project Managers and SME's in order to develop and build client project management skills.
Implementation and maintenance of a hierarchy of programme and project reviews with the relevant terms of reference and key stakeholders.
Monthly programme data and reporting to high quality, accuracy on time every period.
High level of schedule adherence across all projects and deliverables. Project plans created and maintained under change control.
Monthly tracking of benefits, gateway reviews and post-delivery evaluation against baseline plan.
Programme risk and issues log maintained, mitigating actions tracked and escalation to corporate risk and issues database where appropriate.
Regular interaction with Head of Change, other Project Managers and Business Leaders to identify and resolve issues.
Monthly Programme reporting that promote appropriate behaviours, decision making and management by exception.
Creation and management of a Stakeholder Plan. Regular interaction with key stakeholders across the client in order to influence and drive Programme delivery.
Development of project management capability within the Business Change & Transformation team.
3. Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Strong track record and experience in managing HR / People Change programmes and Projects in order to drive people, process, technology and system improvements.
Extensive experience of project and change management methodologies, people transformation processes, finance and governance.
Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills to liaise with a wide range of people across the client at all levels.
Strong influencing and negotiating skills to ensure delivery of programme to agreed timescales.
Ability to work at pace to high quality standards and accuracy but able to succinctly summarise project performance to Sponsor and Leadership team.
Resilience, flexibility and adaptability to address challenges and changing circumstances beyond direct control.
Experience in application of Risk Management methodologies.
Educated to Degree level and/or at least 5 -10 years' experience in a PM discipline.
High level of competence in Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Comfortable working with detail financial and operational data.
