We have a full time vacancy for a BUILDING SURVEYOR to work in Cumbria.

The successful Candidate will be working on projects based on the Sellafield Nuclear site and West Cumbria.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Building Surveyor will be
Undertaking condition surveys, surveys, measured surveys, fire risk assessments, DDA Audits and providing dilapidations advice
Preparation of AutoCAD minor works design, preparation of tender documentation
Acting as Contractor Administrator for minor works projects
Reporting findings through verbal and written communications
Completion of surveys and designs in full accordance with good practice, RICS guidance and Company procedures
Writing of technical reports and Tender documentation
Preparation of design and contract documentation
Proactively interpret and take appropriate actions and decisions
Experienced and operates at a professional level
Ensures departmental processes are adhered to
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Degree qualified (preference give to a Degree in Building Surveying)
Building surveying experience (on a NUCLEAR SITE preferably)
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to support team members
IT literate (including AutoCAD experience)
OS security clearance
Clean driving license
Proven track record in improving revenues and financial performance Chartered Building Surveyor with post qualification experience
