The BTOC Maintenance Controller is responsible for ensuring all aircraft are compliant with applicable maintenance requirements at all times. Charged with overseeing a growing fleet of 36 Boeing 787s and 18 737 MAX aircraft, the Maintenance Controller's scope includes all Maintenance performed up to but not including Base Maintenance.
Responsibilities include: defect management and initial triage of Deferred Defects; coordinating all actions necessary to avoid or minimise technical delays to flight operations and bring AOG situations to the earliest possible conclusion; providing 24 hour technical support to MRO and flight crew to resolve technical issues using published data; resolving technical issues that are outside published data; providing effective communication to Customer Operators to ensure they are able to demonstrate active control; chairing customer facing meetings; coordinating maintenance related items such as ETOPS Verification flights, aircraft robberies, de-assignment requests and Repair Interval extensions; reporting incidents and quality lapses and working proactively to continuously improve the Boeing Global Fleetcare product.
