Job description.
This role is responsible to our clients Head of Air Craft Maintenance at Middle Wallop for providing forward support for the Army Air Corps helicopter operations, as part of the Royal Air Force's Technical Support Services Provision contract. This role is the principle GOLDesp operator for the Lynx Donor activity within our clients Middle Wallop team.
The role has responsibility for various aspects of the aircraft engineering activity - appropriate to trade and experience. Liaising with the Boundary Cell at Yeovilton regarding serviceability of components.
The role is routinely required to work a normal working week.

Main job tasks.
Compliance with all relevant Health, Safety and Environment regulations for the Team and site operations, exercising a Duty of Care promoting a positive approach towards workplace health and safety.
Maintain the GOLDesp system for the aircraft maintained by the Team.
Undertaking all aircraft maintenance activities appropriate to trade and experience.
Undertake self-supervised aircraft maintenance tasks appropriate to trade boundary and the forward maintenance environment.
Complete all aircraft and equipment maintenance and documentation in accordance with published Procedures and Instructions.

Skills profile.
Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the rotary-wing aircraft engineering, ideally with Lynx aircraft experience.
Demonstrates a demonstrable engineering ability in the military rotary-wing aircraft environment.
Good working knowledge of GOLDesp.
Be suitably trained, experienced, qualified and current to undertake the contracted tasks.
Able to display a positive attitude to working independently and within a team.
