Morson have an exciting vacancy for a Bids and Project Administrator based in Yeovil for a leading Aerospace company.

Job Description

The Customer Support & Training (CS&T) Bids and Proposal team offer a focal point capability to provide accurate, deliverable and sustainable bids and proposals to the business, supported by a flexible and robust approvals process.

The team is focused on ensuring on time delivery and definition of competitive proposals, including statements of work, in response to Customer's Request for Proposals, through coordinating the inputs from CS&T functional areas and applying an internal approval process to ensure their compliance with the requirements and senior management endorsement as required.

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Assisting in the support bid & proposal programme in an efficient and effective manner to meet agreed performance targets and business requirements.
  • Support in the analysis of customer requirements and ensure dissemination thereof to all dependant, or contributory departments or major business functions for evaluation and input
  • Contribute to the management of the provision of required support bid & proposal deliverables in accordance with business schedule.
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentational material as appropriate within the scope of the team's responsibility.
  • Undertaking additional duties (including supporting the wider CS&T Service Solutions team) as assigned by the Bids and Proposals Manager and which are consistent with the nature of this role.
  • The production of letters, reports, presentations etc
  • Responding to / making telephone calls
  • Co-ordinating and maintaining filing systems and databases of the closed CS&T Bids & Proposals
  • Attending meetings with other member of the Bids team, post which will require the creation and issue of meeting minutes / actions
  • Supporting other team members to tackle priorities and work load
  • Liaising with both internal and external personnel.
  • Assisting in on-going departmental initiatives, including but not limited to:
  • The design, production and co-ordination of CS&T marketing material.
