I am currently recruiting for a Global Market Leading IT Software Company who operate in the Airline Sector.
This is a role that requires a high degree of networked skills. You must have an ability to work in a pressurised environment, to challenging deadlines, with a forensic level of attention to detail. You will also need an ability to cope with multiple complex opportunities simultaneously. You will co-ordinate a virtual bid team with the relevant service, product and have the required business knowledge to prepare a winning bid, whilst taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process in conjunction with the sales lead.
Key accountabilities will include;
- Taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process, with all necessary procedures and governance adherence
- Preparing and reviewing the commercial financial aspects of the bid
- Risk tracking and management
- Scheduling and facilitating proposal kick-off meetings, key review meetings and final document review
- Coordinate proposal input from a variety of stakeholders
Coordinate document production, version control and delivery of the completed proposal - Leading bid story boarding sessions, alongside the sales lead
- Understand and resolve complex technical, strategic and business issues relating to the bid and how it is to be articulated
- Lead with developing a proposal structure
- Contributing to the written proposal - both in terms of content and visual presentation
- Sound commercial understanding

Essential:
- Superlative time management / prioritisation skills
- Strong team management capabilities
- Strong written English language skills
- Strong commercial understanding
- Professional understanding of templates, macros and styles
- Advanced MS Word skills & proficient in MS Office
- Some knowledge of project management would be an advantage
